Maintaining The Sliding Glass Door Lock

One aspect of security for sliding glass doors that does not get a lot of attention, is maintaining the sliding glass door lock itself. Care should be taken to maintaining the lock, as it can become a security vulnerability if not properly maintained. Of course you can always simply change it, but this way you get more usage out of the lock. Here is a video that tells how to go about maintaining the lock. Of course, depending on the type of lock you have, this may not apply.
